  • Please. Both extremes of the political spectrum have their fair share of nutjobs. There are those who oppose abortion on moral grounds and then there are those who take it too far and bomb abortion clinics and murder doctors.

  • It's possible to be a good man and not be a great president. Regardless of your opinion of the job he did as commander in chief, Carter has always tried to make the world better. He deserves only praise for this particular accomplishment.

  • The Vatican wouldn't allow a mosque to be put up next to a holy Christian site either. That's not the point. America has long since been the light that shows other nations the way. Come on, stoop to the level of "he did it first" ? That's childish and frankly, un-American.

  • well that's stupid. I don't believe in God but I believe in strong commitment to family, being thankful, etc. Being that religious holidays are the days we have to enjoy with family, I plan on using them.

  • I can think of a thousand things to cut before you cut education. Welfare. Project housing. Hell, make some of the roads toll roads. Whatever you have to do. Cutting education is the worst possible thing to cut as a nation if you value its long time viability.

  • I'm not a student, no, but I did ride the bus when I was one. Nothing in life is actually free. When I say free, I mean free to the child. Obviously it comes at the expense of the taxpayer.
